The Culture Council of the University of Delhi was established by the EC vide resolution 186 of 25th March 1989. Objectives of the council are to discover, develop, train and promote socio-cultural talents and interests among the students and staff of the University of Delhi.
The Culture Council, University of Delhi, serves as a platform to nurture talent, encourage exploration, and promote cultural understanding among our diverse student body, who possess extraordinary talent and passion in various domains of the arts.
The Council believes that culture is a powerful force that unites us, transcending boundaries and fostering a sense of unity and pride. The cultural events provide an opportunity to rediscover our roots and remind ourselves of our tangible and intangible cultural heritage, which has been in existence for generations.
