The University of Delhi is recognized for its intrinsic values, academic research, and culturally inclusive atmosphere. It offers opportunities to students to help them develop into fully realized human beings. These young ambassadors work to bring about much-needed change and contribute towards national development.

The Culture Council of the University of Delhi has been established with the sole purpose of developing a vibrant cultural environment on campus that allows students to engage in campus life beyond the classroom. The office has envisaged a variety of cultural activities, including both contemporary and traditional forms of theatre, dance, visual art, etc., which create ample memorable moments for all of us. Through these numerous events, workshops, and collaborations, our University has witnessed the flourishing talents of our students in diverse fields of art and culture.

Our cultural heritage is a treasure trove of living and diverse cultural traditions, traditional expressions, and knowledge systems which play a vital role in the formation and growth of cultural identities. We envision the University, in line with the National Education Policy, to be a higher educational institution engaged in the study and cultivation of culture in its larger perspective, and create citizens who will lead our society in the 21st-century world of multi-dimensional facets with rootedness in culture.

I am positive that our contribution towards the nation shall be reflected in a more prominent manner through the observance of various inclusive as well as innovative endeavors by the office of the Culture Council.
